The Weber Art Gallery is dedicated to the memory of Marguerite Weber, a professor of Art at then Pikeville College. Mrs. Weber taught at Pikeville College from 1952 to her retirement in 1975.
Pikeville College dedicated the Weber Art Gallery during the early 1980’s in honor of Marguerite and her dedication to the school.
The Weber Art Gallery is located at the 2nd floor entrance of the Record Memorial Building on the University of Pikeville campus.
The Ford Art Gallery is dedicated to the memory of Janice B. Ford, a former art teacher and supporter of the institution. Mrs. Ford taught at Pikeville College for many years and fostered an environment of encouragement and support for all students to experience the act of making art.
A Pikeville College alumna, she began her career as an art teacher at Johns Creek Elementary and at Pikeville High School. In 1969, she joined the faculty of Pikeville College.
The Ford Art Gallery is located in the Frank M. Allara Library on the main floor.
