The University of Pikeville’s Coleman College of Business will host a Speaker and Leadership Series event on Friday, October 13, at 11 a.m. on the seventh floor of the Health Professions Education Building. President and CEO of Colonial Claims Doug Branham will serve as the featured guest speaker with his presentation, “From Pikeville College, to Hurricane, to Horses.”
Branham earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Pikeville College in 1971. He founded Colonial Claims, one of the nation’s largest independent claim services companies, in 1982. With two office locations in Lexington, Ky., and Dunedin, Fla., their senior management team has more than 250 years of experience serving the insurance industry. With four decades in the business, they have handled more than $50 billion in damages from catastrophes to daily claims.
The campus and the community are cordially invited to attend the October 13 event. For more information, contact Brenda Maynard, associate professor of business, at (606) 218-5010 or brendamaynard@upike.edu.
