Free Vaccination Clinic

This is for those who want to help or are in need. If you have insurance, please bring your card with you.

Clean-Up Work

If you are a UPIKE student, faculty or staff and are interested in volunteering in the community working in local homes, we gather each morning at 9 am at the bottom of the 99. We have work gloves, water, lunch and tools for you. You can join us and help others.

Samaritan’s Purse Clean Up: Volunteers needed – register using the online portal… This volunteer opportunity begin serving on Saturday and will include day or half-day clean-up activities. Orientation is held at 7:30 AM and 12:30 PM at First Baptist Church in Pikeville. Tools will be provided. Volunteers should dress in long pants and boots. This opportunity will not go through me, but you can sign up for a day shift using their website by creating an account – https://www.spvolunteer.org/project-response/760.

Shelter Work

Come to work at a local High School that is operating as an emergency housing shelter and donation center. In this work, you would be helping receive supplies or giving out donations. All inside work. It is a great way for kids to learn about community service. 

    Locations are Pike Central High School, Shelby Valley High School, Belfry High School

    Mercy Chefs: Volunteers Needed – Sign Up Using Their Website. This is a national organization that several of us worked with in the 2022 floods and today was their first day at Shelby Valley High School.  If you like working in the kitchen, this is a great opportunity for you to give back.     Pike Association for Southern Baptists

    The churches of the Pike Association are now accepting donations to go toward Flood Relief Projects in Pike County.

    Currently, we have drop off donation locations for water and cleaning supplies only at:
