  • Submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities you have previously attended, including those for dual credit while in high school.
    • This could include SMARTS/ARTS transcripts or CLEP credits.
  • Send UPIKE your ACT or SAT score. (Optional)
  • Submit transcripts for any other accelerated coursework such as AP courses, IB, AICE, and DANTES.

Next Steps

Once admitted to UPIKE, the next step is to submit a $75 enrollment deposit to reserve your seat for the future term and gain access to a UPIKE email account. Through the email account, we’ll send you regular updates regarding:

  • GROWL Registration
  • Housing application instructions
  • Financial Aid processing and scholarship opportunities

When transferring to the University of Pikeville, our Registrars Office will complete evaluations of all official college transcripts. As long as a student has earned a C or better in a course and we have an equivalent class, it will transfer in.

At UPIKE, it takes 120 credit hours to complete a bachelors degree.

In order for UPIKE to award a degree, the student must complete at least 50% of their major and their last 30 credit hours with us.

Please have your family members reach out to Stephanie Stiltner, Director of Family and New Student Connections, if they have any questions about:

  • Public Safety
  • Staying connected with campus
  • Supporting your transfer to UPIKE
  • And anything else!
