Resources

The office of Family Connections has compiled resources from campus departments and services for families to view in one place.

GROWL: Family Orientation

Your student will take part in a GROWL session where they will learn about life at UPIKE and meet with a student success advisor to confirm their class schedule. While they are taking care of the business of being a student, you are invited to take part in a separate session designed with families in mind. You’ll have the opportunity to hear what to expect during your student’s transition to college, talk with student financial services staff and learn invaluable resources you may lean on during your student’s collegiate experience.

Students and families register for GROWL together. Click HERE to get information on how to schedule your GROWL day.

FAQs

Encourage your student to stop by the Center for Student Success or Office of Student Affairs. Those offices are full of people who want to help students and connect them to campus. Sometimes, it’s a matter of having a favorite meal – a taste of home – that gets students back on track. Sometimes, as we get to know students and learn their interests, we are able to connect them with programs or people on and off campus. Sometimes, it just helps to get them out of their residence hall room and involved in campus activities.

Students are encouraged to sign-up for a mailbox on campus. The mailroom is located on the ground floor of Wickham. Families are welcome to send packages to their students using the mailing information below:
